War of the Realms
Acabo de terminar de leer la historia de War of Realms de Marvel Comics. Este Crossover en lo que respecta creo que esta bien aunque desgraciadamente son demasiados Tied-in y algunos de ellos son un poco difíciles de incrustar dentro de la continuidad como tal. Por ejemplo los 3 números de Punisher ocurren antes del segundo numero de War of realms sin embargo, por cuestiones de distribución pues prácticamente terminaron saliendo casi para el final de la serie.
El villano que es responsable de traer caos a la tierra en esta ocasión es Malekith, el elfo oscuro, y a lo largo de la historia el se encarga de exiliar a Thor a Jöthunheim. En el inter, Malekith aprovecha para ir conquistando uno a uno a los 10 mundos y sumando a sus habitantes a sus ejércitos. Una vez que ha conseguido doblegarlos a todos, solo hay un mundo pendiente, el cual reservo por ser el mundo que se encuentra bajo la protección de Thor: Midgard (o como diría Tolkien, la tierra media).
Inclusive en un giro que no se veía venir, prácticamente los héroes pierden en la primer batalla obligando por ejemplo a evacuar prácticamente a toda la ciudad de New York a la base actual de los vengadores: Un centinela. En New York quedan algunos habitantes varados y junto con ellos, los cuatro fantásticos, quienes terminan siendo la ultima linea de defensa de la ciudad. Loki es asesinado dentro del primer numero de la serie por su propio padre e incluso, lo que termina sucediendo es que la tierra queda dividida, tocandole a cada mundo una pequeña parte de nuestro planeta, sien por ejemplo Norte America para los gigantes de hielo, Europa para los elfos Oscuros y Africa para los angeles por ejemplo.
